Sending us your logo is easy, just attach your file and email to michelle@pro-image.us. We can read most formats, but JPG, TIFF and ESP files will work the best. If you don't have it in one of these formats, send us what you have and we will do our best to make it work. Once we digitize your logo, we will send you a picture of it for your approval. We want you will know exactly what you are getting when your customized apparel arrives - no surprises! Screen Printing ... it all starts with an idea brought to us by our customers. Their ideas are taken to our graphics department who make a computer generated version of that idea and forward back to the customer for final approval ... then the fun begins.
Step 1; Producing the Art ... each color of the design will have its own screen. Before the production artist can take the design to the screen department they must print each color on a film positive to transfer to it's own screen. Step 2; Preparing the Screens ... the screens are coated with photosensitive emulsion. The screen is then placed into a unit that exposes it to ultraviolet light. The ultraviolet light burns the design into the screen ... we then remove the excess emulsion from the screen with a high pressure water rinse. Step 3; Printing the t-shirt ... by transferring ink through the screen onto the shirt. The t-shirt is placed on the platen making sure that it is even and sitting straight then the operator pulls the ink across it with a rubber printing squeegee. The t-shirt is removed and placed under a special drying unit ... job completed.
